Obituary for Matthew Kael Maeker OBIT RE: MATTHEW KAEL MAEKER DATELINE: LINDALE, TEXAS Funeral services for Matthew Kael Maeker, age 18, of Lindale, Texas are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the First Baptist Church Lindale with Rev. Tom Buck officiating. Interment will follow in the Miller Grove Cemetery in Miller Grove, Texas with services under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale, Texas.

Matthew died Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at his residence. He was born on September 19, 1999 in Kaufman, Texas and was a longtime resident of Lindale. Matthew graduated from Lindale High School in the Class of 2018 and was preceded in death by his birth mother, Miracle Starr O’Pry.

Matthew is survived by his parents, Jeff & Melissa Maeker of Lindale, Texas; brother, Jared Michael Maeker of Lindale, Texas; sister, Kamryn Lewis of Kemp, Texas; grandparents, Harlan & Dora Patterson of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Linda Maeker of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Larry Maeker of Sulphur Springs, Texas; Gary & Sheree O’Pry; aunts and uncles, Bryan & Kelly Patterson of Sulphur Springs, Texas, David & Renee Maeker of Sulphur Springs, Texas and Gary & Sandra O’Pry Jr. of Forney, Texas; and several cousins. Serving as pallbearers will be Hayden O’Pry, Seth Maeker, Mason Maeker, Gary O’Pry Jr., Bryan Patterson and David Maeker. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. prior to the service on Sunday at the First Baptist Church Lindale.
