Obituary for John Allen McDade Graveside Services for John Allen McDade, age 81 of Mineola, Texas, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Sabine Cemetery in Lindale, Texas under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale, Texas. Officiating will be Bro. Mike Sullivan and Bro.

Sherman Mayfield. John passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at his home in Mineola, Texas. He was born January 17, 1937 in Lindale, Texas to the late Grover Allen and Jewel (Scott) McDade.

John served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War, was a member of the TR Bonner Masonic Lodge #764 and worked throughout his life as a Bricklayer. He has lived in Mineola for the past 30 years where he was a member of the Silver Lake Baptist Church. John is preceded in death by a brother, Charles McDade.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Mary McDade; sons, Dennis McDade, John McDade and wife, Jessica, Wesley McDade, and Michael Wisdom; daughters, Kathy Groom and husband, Marvin, Linda Storm and husband, Dale, and Jenny Wisdom; brother, Billy McDade; sisters, Peggy Fox and Shirley Moore; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 31, 2018 at Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale, Texas.
