Obituary for Jan Turner Funeral Services for Jan Turner, age 60 of Lindale, Texas, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home Chapel in Lindale, Texas with Rev. William Dillon and Rev. David Bethel officiating and special speaker Nathan Brown.

A private interment will follow at Langley Cemetery in Beckville, Texas under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home. Jan passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at her home in Lindale, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 21, 1958 in Carthage, Texas to the late, James Robert “Sonnyman” and Alvie Cleo (Grice) Curry.

Jan has lived in Lindale for the last 7 years and had previously lived in El Dorado, Arkansas. She was a member of the New Life Church in Mineola, Texas and was a loving Homemaker. Jan was passionate about gardening, her loving family, and witnessing to anyone she could about the love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She is preceded in death by brothers, Claud Jackson and Harry Lee Curry; nephew, Edmond Jackson Curry; and niece, Penny Lynn Williams. Jan is survived by her husband, Kane Turner of Lindale, Texas; son, Bill Birmingham of Carthage, Texas; daughter, Misty Hawkins and husband, Jeremy of Mansfield, Texas; brothers, Larry Curry of Texarkana, Texas, James Curry of Beckville, Texas, and Gene Curry of Gladewater, Texas; twin sister, June Dyke of Carthage, Texas; grandchildren, Landon and Turner Hawkins of Mansfield, Texas, Tryston McCandless and Abigail Jubilee Birmingham of Arkansas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will include Landon Hawkins, Jeremy Hawkins, Randall Woodard, Michael Curry, Nathaniel Boutin, and Frank Curry.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale, Texas.
