David C. Halsey Jr., AGE 71, of Woodville, OH passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at his Woodville residence. He was born December 31, 1946 in Detroit, MI to David C. and Jane E. (Fields) Halsey Sr. On October 26, 1976 he married Ruthann Hayhurst in Woodville. David and Ruthann celebrated over 39 years of marriage before Ruthann’s passing in May of 2015.

David worked as an Engineer with Chrysler in the Perrysburg Plant 37 years. David is survived by his children: Jill (Tim) Johnson of Fairborn, David (Susan) Halsey of Bowling Green, Jackie (Dan) Horvath of Woodville, grandchildren: Laura, Leah, Alex, Casey, Nate and Nick, great-grandchildren: Max, Jamison, Max and Arizona, sister: Deborah (William) Haire and his beloved k-9 pets Colby and Queenie.

In addition to his wife Ruthann, David was preceded in death by his parents. David was laid to rest next to Ruthann at Restlawn Memorial Park in Perrysburg. Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home in Woodville, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
