David Zyllo, 67, of Bemidji, MN died Monday, November 26, 2018 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center. Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home, Bemidji with Pastor Rick Clyde officiating. A Time of Sharing will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

David Ted Zyllo was born June 3, 1951 in Bemidji to Ted and Ardella (Fiskum) Zyllo. He graduated from Bemidji High School. On November 11, 1972 he married Janie White in Becida.

They lived in Bemidji. Most of his adult life he owned and operated David Zyllo Trucking. They had three children and lived on Little Spearhead Lake.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He spent many years attending his children’s sporting events. He loved playing cards and spending time with family and friends.

Dave loved to cook and prepared many meals for his family. He is survived by his wife, Janie Zyllo of Bemidji; sons, Bradley (Amanda) Zyllo of Clearbrook and Kelly (Jamie) Zyllo of Bemidji; daughter, Amy (Ryan) Olson of Bemidji; 5 grandchildren, Cain, Abby, Briella, Bentley and Brooklyn; mother-in-law, Myra Knaffla of Laporte; 2 sisters and his beloved dog, Boogie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Ardella Zyllo.
