Obituary for David “Doc” Gene Kines David “Doc” Gene Kines, longtime resident of Terrell, passed away on June 4, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on November 9, 1949 to R.M. & Ruby Kines in Terrell, Texas. He graduated from Terrell High School and attended Trinity Valley Community College.

He worked at Vistawall/Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope for more than 43 years. Doc enjoyed watching sports, listening to music, going to the casinos with his wife, and he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Doc was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Jimmy Kines; brother-in-law: Rick Ebert; sister-in-law: Beth Cash; and step-father: Fredie Webster.

He is survived by his loving wife, Angela Ebert Kines; daughter: Stacie Medina & husband, Charles; brother: Jerry Kines & wife, Margaret; grandchildren: Joshua McClure, Adam McClure, Hannah McClure, Christen Medina, Cameren Medina and Caitlin Medina; brother-in-law: Scott Ebert & wife, Gayla; parents-in-law: JoAnn Fortner & husband, Roger, and Richard Ebert & wife, Billie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Max Slayton Funeral Chapel in Terrell, TX. Graveside Services will follow at Morrow Chapel Cemetery in Ola, Texas.
