Obituary for David Floyd Bales David Floyd Bales, 55, of Anderson, passed away on September 26, 2018 at his residence. He was born on January 15, 1963 in Anderson, where he resided most of his life. David graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1981, and attended IUPUI.

He retired from General Motors, and he had previously worked for, Pilkington Trucking, and M.K. Betts He was a member of the UAW, and the Teamster’s. He enjoyed watching the Colts, and spending time with his grandchildren. David is survived by his loving daughter, Jaimi Bales; mother and step-father, Betty & Nick Gray; granddaughter, Ariella Ellis; grandson, Tharen Ellis; sister, Leigh (Tim) Bair of Naples, FL; step-sister, Anita Page, niece, Shelby Flora; niece, Hailey Page; nephew, Reid Flora; special friends, Misty Woods, Dave Knutson, Dan & Anita Walker; and his beloved cat, Miley.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cliff Bales; grandparents, Cliff & Mary Bales, grandparents, Paul & Louise Abernathy, grandfather, Floyd Snellenbarger; step-daughter, Jessi Knutson; and his loyal K9 companion, Cyrus. He was the man that gave everyone he loved a nickname, had the best laugh, and was a “Big Guy” with an even Bigger Heart Visitation will be held Sunday, September 30, 2018, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson. Services will be at 2:00 pm, Sunday, September 30, 2018, at the funeral home, with Pastor John Tyner officiating.

Burial will take place in East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson. Memorial contributions may be made to Madison County Humane Society or The Animal Protection League. www.
