David L. Wolshlager, 70, of Norris City passed away at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado, IL. He was born one of 13 children, some who passed at birth, on June 2, 1947 in Berrien Center, Michigan the son of Adolph and Alberta Ann (Barker) Wolshlager. David married Patti Pearce on March 10, 1975.

He had worked at a nursery in Michigan, along with being a farmer and apple picker. David loved to garden, tending to his animals and walks. He was a avid sports fan of basketball, baseball and football and loved cheering on the Cubs, Packers and Celtics.

. David was a member of Tennessee Bend Baptist Church. David is survived by his wife of 43 years, Patti; a daughter, Christy Wolshlager of Norris City; four sisters, Shirley Nelson of Mesa, AZ, Debbie Wolshlager of Bridgeman, MI, Louise Krumny of Baroda, MI and Genevia Dawson of New Buffalo, MI; and two brothers, Dale Wolshlager of Bridgeman, MI and Adolph Wolshlager; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death three brothers, Danny, Harold and Jerry Wolshlager and a sister, Darlene Wolshlager. Services for David L. Wolshlager, 70, of Norris City will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Campbell Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses and will accepted online at www.
