Midway – David Lewis McClain, 83, departed for Heaven on Thursday, March 21, 2019. He was born in Midway, Kentucky on July 13, 1935 to the late Thomas Burns and Viola Gregory McClain. He was self-employed as an electrical contractor, was a member of Midway Methodist Church, and a Veteran of the US Air Force.

He is survived by his former spouse and best friends, Lula McClain; his children, James (Betty Sue) McClain, Terry Lynn McClain, Luke (Anita) McClain, Mindy (Chris) Ford; his stepson, Jason (Farrah) Kyle; his sister, Joyce Covert; his grandchildren, Jennifer McClain, Gloria McClain, and Jagger Ford; and his great grandchildren, Jimmy White, Brandon McClain, Johnny Reed, and Jaxon Reed. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Kelly McClain. Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.

Rev. William Bush will be officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Serving as casketbearers will be James McClain, Luke McClain, Jason Kyle, Chris Ford, Jagger Ford, and Trace Lowe. Honorary casketbearers will be Brandon McClain, Jimmy White, Johnny Reed, Jaxon Reed, and Gloria McClain. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until 1:00pm on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
