Obituary for David Patrick Grieco David P. Grieco, 45 of Old Bridge, New Jersey passed away, surrounded by the love of his family, on Sunday, August 26, 2018, at Haven Hospice in Edison, New Jersey. Born Sunday, July 1, 1973 in Belleville, New Jersey, he was the son of William Grieco and Mary Grieco. David was raised in Manalapan, NJ and attended Manalapan High School.
David was very talented in both cooking, restaurant management and building. He has worked in the restaurant business for many years as well as most recently restarting his own contracting business, DPG Construction. Dave could design and build anything.
David was first and foremost a family man. He was married for almost 15 years to the love of his life Christa. Dave took great care of his family, always working hard to provide for them.
He was the loving father of twins Gavin and Camryn and loved to spend time with them. Cheering them on at events, fishing, playing video games, giving them advice, telling jokes and singing his made up silly songs to make them laugh. Dave loved to cook for his family.
Not only weeknight dinners and grilling but countless holidays, NY Giants tailgates and family events. It brought a smile to his face as he was an excellent cook who truly loved it. His family is blessed to have had him in their lives.
David is survived by his beloved wife, Christa, by his cherished children, Gavin William and Camryn Sophia, by his loving parents, Mary Grieco, and William Grieco and his step mother Marie, by his caring brother Joseph Todd and his wife Jennifer, Mother-in-law Caroline Blomquist and her husband Gary Blomquist, Father-in-law Robert Roszkowski and his wife Lynn Roszkowski and brothers-in-law Kenneth, Joseph, Alex and John, sisters-in-law Dawn and Jaclyn and by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:15 AM on Thursday at St. Thomas the Apostle, Old Bridge. Interment to follow at St. Gabriel Cemetery, Marlboro, NJ.
