David Raymond Kezele, age 69, at rest peacefully on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. David is survived by his loving wife, Jean Kezele (nee Thompson); children, Brian (Sue) Kezele, Stacey Adams and Kari (Zeb) Freeman; grandchildren, Rylan, Brycen, Jacob, Matthew, Gabe, Zander and Delaney; siblings, Danny Kezele, Nancy (Sean) Reardon, Judy Kezele, Donnie Kezele and Dennis (Michelle) Kezele; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Helen (nee Janesh) Kezele.

David recently retired from DuPage County Public Works after over 20 years of service. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, the Chicago Cubs, Bears and Blackhawks and sitting in the sun on his patio hanging out with the neighbors. David found great joy in spending time with his family and was always there to lend a helping hand when needed.

He will be truly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations in David’s name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated. A celebration of David’s life will begin on Sunday, January 27, 2019 with a visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m. Per David’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation.
