Gladys Marie Lakotich (nee Dean), age 80, entered into eternal rest at her home on Sunday, January 20, 2019. Gladys is survived by her daughter, Donna (nee Brown) (Thomas) Bourg; grandchildren, Dakota Adams and Brittany Adams, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Govoni, Thomas (Grace) Bourg, Tiffany (Michael) Reilly, Bradley (Amy) Bourg, Julie Poker, Karen (David)Zimmer, Wendy Brown, Brandi Upchurch; great-grandchildren, Madison, Emily, Kaitlyn Govoni, Elliot, Kate, Henry, Benjamin Bourg, Emmett, Kendall, Spencer, Cassidy Reilly, Krista, Alyssa, Clara Poker, Alex, Kristyn, Tristan Row, Ivy Rapp; one great-great-grandchild, David; sister-in-law, Barb (the late William) Dean; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Edward and Vera Jane (nee Emberton) Dean; children, James Brown (2016) and Dawn Lakotich (2000); siblings, Edward (Anita) Dean, James (Ruth) Dean, Donald (Mary) Dean, Robert (Yvonne) Dean, Lena (Jacob) Sandmire and Loretta (Alfred) Wheet.

Gladys’ greatest joy was spending time with her family, from attending her grandchildren’s special events to being together with everyone for the holidays. She loved working in the yard and caring for her special companion Gizmo. Gladys retired from Johns Manville after 25 years of dedicated service.

A celebration of Gladys’ life will begin on Friday, January 25, 2019 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:15 a.m. then driving in procession to Pathway Christian Church for a funeral service to be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Fairmount-Willow Hills Memorial Park.
