Obituary for Jack G. Cartwright Jack G. Cartwright Age 89 years, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. Born in Joliet on August 15, 1929. He was a US Army Veteran of W.W. II.

He was retired from Com Ed and an active member of Stone City Post VFW # 2199. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Norma Jean (nee Rimke) Cartwright (2016); his son, Kevin Cartwright; his granddaughter, Amy Roberts; his parents, Edward and Alma Kohn and a sister, Shirley Bahr. Survived by his daughters, Cathy Stukel and Kim (John) Baron; his son, Jeff (Julie) Cartwright; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer Gifford, Jason Baron, Jill Roberts, Jeremy (Jeana) Roberts, Stacy Masters, Amanda and Sean Stukel, Breanna and Brittany Beallis and MacKenzie Cartwright; 7 great-grandchildren, Annie Baron, Alex Gifford, Tyler and Nora Roberts, Chrystal Nero, Jacob Masters and Cassidy Swearengen; 2 great-great grandchildren, Brandon and James.

Visitation will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home and Crematory 2320 Black Road on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 10:00 AM until time of services at 12:00 Noon. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorials in Jack’s name to Messiah Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
