Anne Davia (nee Polyak), age 95, passed away peacefully at Parc Nursing Home on Sunday, January 20, 2019. Anne is survived by her son, James Davia; sister, Dr. Barbara Conway; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Vasco Davia; parents, Mirko and Vincenca (nee Tomich) Polyak; brothers, Anthony, Thomas, Joseph, Michael, and Jack Polyak; sisters, Mary Cvetkovich, Catherine Sloka, and Margaret Slabozeski.

Anne was a life-long resident of Crest Hill. She was employed for many years by the American Institute of Laundry and later retired from St. Joseph Medical Center. Anne was a lover of polka music and enjoyed concerts on the hill and the Cubs.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations made to St. Anne’s Prayer Garden would be appreciated. A celebration of Anne’s life will begin on Friday, January 25, 2019 with a Memorial Service at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Mary Nativity Cemetery in Crest Hill, IL.
