DAVID ROGER RHOADS SR. , age 79, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 10:53 p.m. at Fayette County Memorial Hospital. He was born on March 4, 1939 in Ross County to Ora and Thelma Cox Rhoads.

David had worked as a farmer for most of his life. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. He enjoyed trap shooting, playing cards, and being with his family.

David was preceded in death by his parents; Rosemary Rhoads; son, David Rhoads Jr.; and siblings, Shirley Betts, James Rhoads, and Frank Rhoads. Survivors include his children, Ora Rhoads, Rosetta (Larry Mann) Williams, Mike Roads , and Jeanitte Rhoads; grandchildren, Tori (Mark) Conklin, Joshua Riddell, Michael Rhoads, Marchelle Rhoads, Mika Hatfield, and Jessie (Sarah) Rhoads. Also surviving are several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bainbridge Church of Christ in Christian Union, 216 S. Quarry St., Bainbridge, Ohio 45612, with Rev. John Taylor officiating with burial to follow at the Bainbridge Cemetery.
