David Roy Plasters, a resident of Sulphur was born April 9, 1941 in Oklahoma City, OK to William & Lelia Margaret ( Blagg) Plasters. He passed away Friday March 8, 2019 at Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 77 years 10 months and 29 days. He was married to Carolyn Sue (Kinsey) Plasters at Okla.

City in 1960. He grew up in Okla. City, graduated from Capitol Hill High School.

David served in the US Air Force from 1959 until 1963. He had worked as a computer operator in the banking business He was a lifetime member of the Albuquerque, New Mexico Optimist Club, for 30 plus years. David really enjoyed working with the children in the Optimist projects, serving as the Kite Doctor.

He started the project of helping schools with needed supplies. David moved to Sulphur in 2005. He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 siblings.

Survived by his Wife: Carolyn Plasters, of Sulphur, OK Daughter & son-in-law: Sonya Knight & Vince, of Sulphur, OK Son & daughter -in-law: Glenn Plasters & Samantha, of Okla. City, OK Brother & sister-in-law: Earl “Jerb” Sherrod & Dorothy, of Tuttle, OK; 4 Grandchildren, Rachelle Hodgson, Taylor Knight, Amber Plasters and Sarah Plasters, 2 Great Grandchildren: Makayla Benjamin & Caden Benjamin.
