Obituary for David Gardner Jesse David Gardner age 70 of Myrtlewood, AL died July 11, 2018 at Hospice of West Alabama. He was born January 31, 1948 in Selma, AL to Bo and R.T. Gardner. He was retired from Georgia-Pacific Corp.

and was a member of Myrtlewood Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Gail Gibbs Gardner of Myrtlewood, AL; two daughters, Alana Gardner Champion (Chad) of Cottondale, AL; and Stephanie Gardner Cox (Blake) of Tuscaloosa, AL; his mother, R.T. Fikes Gardner of Myrtlewood, AL; sister, Peggy Gardner Scott (Richard) of Linden, AL; three granddaughters, Emma Kate Champion, Ansley Ruth Champion, and Blakely Sue Cox. He was preceded in death by his father, Bo Gardner.

Visitation will be held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm. Graveside funeral services will be held at Myrtlewood Cemetery on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Steve Walley officiating.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Hospice of Alabama. Arrangements by O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Linden, AL.
