Obituary for Tony Counselman James Anthony Counselman age 68 of Thomasville, AL died Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Springhill Memorial Hospital. He was born September 22, 1950 in Grove Hill, AL to James Vera and Sara Frances Counselman. He was retired from the Clarke County School Systems, and was a member of Ulcanush Baptist Church and attended Sacred Heart Parish.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn R. Counselman; son, Mark (Karen) Counselman; two daughters, Tara (Daniel) Walker and Mitzi (Clay) Morris; eight grandchildren, Matthew Hicks, Kayli Walker, Brett Dailey, Brooklynn Walker, Marianna Counselman, Josie Walker, Makenna Counselman, and Marlee Morris. Visitation will be held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 10:00 am with Rev.
Ty Parten and Father Travis Burnett officiating. Burial will follow at Choctaw Corner Cemetery in Thomasville, AL. Flowers will accepted or memorials may be made to The Salvation Army.
