Obituary for Janie Amander Roberts Janie Amander Goodman Roberts age 85 a homemaker of Chilton, AL died October 7, 2018 at Marengo Nursing Home. She was born August 29, 1933 in Chilton, AL to Tom and Hessie Brunson. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Charles M. Roberts; son Danny R. Harrison (Kaye); two grandchildren, Rodney D. Harrison (Trina) and Toni Haskins (Lark); five great grandchildren, Jon Harrison (Whitney), Mallory Anderson, Madison Anderson, Daniel Beckworth (Kayla), and Devan Moore; three great-great grandchildren, Sawyer Beckworth, Jace Moore, and Riggins Harrison. She was preceded in death by her husband of many years, Hilton E. Goodman; her parents, and eleven brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held at Oak Grove Baptist Church on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am service time with Rev.
Bill Faircloth officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Arrangements by O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home.
