DATELINE: KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Deborah “Debbie” Ann Hullender Deborah Ann Hullender, 58, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on May 04, 2018 at CaroMont Health in Gastonia, NC. She was born in Cleveland County, NC. Debbie attended Catawba College where she earned her Bachelors degree.

After graduating she began her teaching career. Debbie taught kindergarten for many years and touched the lives of countless children. She was the matriarch of the Kings Mountain High School Class of 1978 and worked tirelessly to make sure everyone knew about upcoming events such as the class reunion.

Debbie was a voracious reader and had a wonderful sense of humor and a genuine caring heart. She was a wonderful teacher and a loving daughter, sister and aunt. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Dr. John Sloan officiating. VISITATION: Monday, May 7, 2018 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM prior to the service in the Stained Glass Room at First Baptist Church.
