Ms. Debra J. Head, age 61 of Franklin, KY, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 12:53 AM at her daughter’s residence in Riddleton, TN. Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home. Per Debra’s wishes, cremation was chosen and services will be held in NY at a later date.

Debra was born November 15, 1957 in upstate NY. She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances L. Johnson Wilfong. She is survived by her parents: Robert and MaryMil Hastings of Syracuse NY, as well as her children: Kelly Anderson of Riddleton, TN, Stanley Smith (Jessica) of Stafford Springs, CT and Derrick Head (Corie) of Geneva, NY, 2 sisters Laury Willoughby and Karen Dunn both of Syracuse, NY, 10 grandchildren: Casey, Kain, Kyle, Isabella, Cooper, Charlee, Camryn, Quinn, Jetta and Damien as well as several cousins, uncles, an aunt, nieces, great nieces and great nephews.

Debra was a member of St Mary’s Catholic Church, Simpson County Homemakers, Crafty Critters, Round Pond Homemakers, 4H Council, 4H Leader of the sewing club, Simpson County Relay for Life, St. Mary’s Ladies Guild, Friends of the Library, Community Education and B.P.W. She cherished the friendships each of these organizations brought. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Simpson County 4-H in Franklin, KY.
