OBITUARY William M Boring May 30, 1955 – December 17, 2018 William “Bill” Boring, 63, passed away December 17, 2018 at Linda E. White Hospice House. He was born on May 30, 1955 to the late William V. Boring and Geneva (Johnson) Boring. Bill served 6 years in the Army Infantry.

He worked in the restaurant business for over 30 years. Bill was a member of the Amvets Post 84, Owls Nest # 30, River City Eagles Aerie 4023. He loved playing music and in bands.

He was self-taught and played several instruments, including the guitar and the harmonica. He was an avid pool player and loved his family. William was preceded in death by his sister, Cynthia Boring; nephew, Allen D Boring Jr. and great niece Elizabeth Zoller and niece Hollie Morrow Pruden.

He is survived by his son, Matthew Macken; brothers, Allen Boring (Mary), Bobby Boring (Amy) of Evansville, IN; sisters, Barbara Morrow (Nick) of Las Vegas and Denise Ashby. A memorial service will be held 5:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2018 at Alexander West Chapel officiated by Chaplain John McMullen. Friends may visit 3:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
