On Monday January 14th, 2019, Dee Ann Wilson, loving wife of the late John Wilson passed away at the age of 80 at Evelyn’s House in Creve Coeur, MO. Dee was born on August 17th, 1938 on her grandparents farm in Blueford, IL. She grew up in her beloved hometown of Kirkwood, MO.

She attended Kirkwood High School where she met her husband John. They married May 12, 2007 in Juno Beach, FL where they resided for 15 years. Dee was preceded in death by her mother Helen, father Samuel Martin, step mother Retha, brother Phillip Martin, step sisters Sandy and Sherrie, step brother Rodney, husband John, and daughter Denise Nifong.

She is survived by her brother Mike Martin step brother Gary Lindner, son Dennis Geisler, daughters Pamela, Kathleen, Penny, and Donell along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and cousins. Dee was known for her humorous and honest personality. She was a dedicated and loving mother to her six children.

She loved to travel and did so extensively in the later years of her life. She enjoyed her daily Bible sessions and of course, television. Dee had a great love of animals especially her dogs Molly and Scottie.

She will be missed by all who have known and loved her. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 10301 Big Bend Road, Kirkwood, MO 63122. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Evelyn’s House for their gentle and thoughtful care.
