Delmar David, 75, of Bellevue passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019 at The Bellevue Hospital. He was born May 29, 1943 in Moberly, Missouri the son of William and Mildred (Monning) David. Delmar worked for Norfolk Southern Railroad until his retirement in 2003.

He was a member of the Bellevue Moose, VFW, and Eagles. He loved spending his summers at Leafy Oaks Campground and was an archery enthusiast. He loved painting and drawing and especially his beloved dogs, Mo and Sierra.

He is survived by his children: Kevin (Gudelia) David, Kathy ( Eric ) Emery, Dana ( Kent) Pearson, Alan (Linda Frye) David, Chad (Besy) David, Eric David, Jason David, and Anthony David; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; Step-children: Tammy (James) Buchanan, Heidi Black, and Jeri (Rick) Straub; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and brothers: Mike (Barb) David, John (Paula) David, Mark (Wendy) David, and Theodore David; sister, Linda Rutter; and sister-in-law’s, Lynn David, Karen David; and numerous nieces and nephews; He is preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Laveda (Evans); brothers: James David, Dan David, Delbert David, and Francis William David; and son-in-law, Michael Wayne Black. Friends will be received on Friday, February 1, 2019 from Noon until a memorial service begins at 1 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery, Clyde.
