Obituary for Delores Ann King Brushfork, WV- Delores Ann King, 70, Brushfork, WV, died July 11, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born September 25, 1947 in Bluefield, she was a daughter of the late Halet H. Gillespie and Betty Davis Gillespie. Mrs. King was of the Baptist Faith.

She loved flowers and gardening, crocheting and butterflies. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee King, Sr.; and two brothers, Dewey Gillespie and Raymond Gillespie. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Bonnie Murphy and husband John, Robin Miller and husband Chris, Robert King, Jr. and wife Tamera, and Marlena Lilly and husband Mark, all of Bluefield; brother, George “Pete” Gillespie and wife Marie of Bluefield, WV; sisters, Norma Harman of Orlando, FL and Janet Collins of Bluefield, WV; grandchildren, Jason Murphy and wife Ashley, Michael Murphy and wife Julie, Ashley Poore and husband James, Andrew King and wife Calleigh, Laken King, and Shawn Stafford and wife Christie; and her four-legged companion, her dog, Pocket.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from the Mercer Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Reginald Blakewood officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour.
