Denise’s Obituary Denise Aileen Schram Casey, 56, of Lafayette passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, Louisiana. Denise was born in Manchester, Iowa to Wilbur Arden Schram and Darlene Schram Fowler on July 30, 1962. She was very passionate about her career in law enforcement.

She was employed by the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office for 15 years where she touched the lives of so many people. She had the greatest love for her children and grandchildren. Denise will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her.

Denise is survived by her four children Mark Casey of Lafayette, Joshua Casey and his wife Christy of Opelousas, Crystal Angelle and her husband Kevin of Sunset and Jacob Casey and his fiancé Alexis Domingue of Breaux Bridge and their father Jeffery Casey, of Breaux Bridge. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, her parents Wilbur Schram and Darlene Fowler and her sister Helen Beavers. Denise was preceded in death by her brothers Rodney and Jerry Schram; her grandparents Walter and Alice Beck; and Ira Walter Schram and Grace Ann Schram.

At Denise’s request, her family will celebrate her life in a private memorial service where she will be laid to rest at East Lawn Cemetery in Marshall, Arkansas.
