Thomas’ Obituary “With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them.

And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away”. –Revelation 21:3-4 Memorial Services will be held honoring the life of Thomas Ireland Sr. at Our Saviors Church Midtown Campus, 101 Marie Antoinette St, Lafayette, LA 70506 on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 10:00a.m. Thomas Ireland Sr. was born on June 30, 1967 to the late Martha and Donald Ireland of Jena, Louisiana.

He was a faithful member of Our Saviors Church in Lafayette, Louisiana. He loved coffee, working on Chevy trucks, restoring old cars and spending time with family and friends. He was a jack of all trades.

He was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather who will be dearly missed. He was a thoughtful and caring friend. He would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need.

He passed at his home in Lafayette, Louisiana on Tuesday, March 5, 2019. He will be sadly missed by his wife Melanie “Kay” Ireland, daughters Shannon, Andy, and Lacy Ireland, and son TJ and wife Kayla Ireland; granddaughter Camille Ireland. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Martha and Donald Ireland, and nephew J.J. Dickey.

Thomas will always be cherished in our memories and may he spend an eternity in the Glory of our one true King Jesus Christ. We love you Papa!
