Obituary for Denise Marie Partyka (Kroll) Denise Marie Partyka (nee Kroll), 69, of Manahawkin for over 10 years and formerly of East Rutherford, passed away on December 24, 2018. Before retiring in 2008, she was a 5th grade teacher at School 12 in Clifton for 34 years. She was the recipient of the Clifton Excellence in Teaching Award and a member of the Clifton Teachers Association.
Denise enjoyed crocheting, loved music, the theatre and being down the shore at the beach. She had a huge place in her heart for all animals and donated to shelters locally and nationally. Denise was involved with Soldiers Angels, mailing care packages and writing letters to the troops overseas.
She also supported the Lakota Sioux Tribe in South Dakota. Beloved wife for 50 years of Bruce M. Partyka. Loving mother of Tara L. Nosti and Bruce Jared Partyka and his wife Elena Antokhina.
Cherished grandmother of Isabella Nosti, Ksenia Partyka and Esther Partyka. Dear sister of Michele Fistel. Denise was a dear and beloved friend to many.
Cremation was private. A Funeral Mass will be held January 12, 2019 at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, East Rutherford. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Friends of Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 1162, Manahawkin, NJ 08050 or www.
