Dennis Joseph Lynch, age 76, of Naples, FL, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. Formerly of Westchester County, NY, he had been a resident of Naples since 1971. He was born February 24, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Thomas Joseph and Margaret (née Sullivan) Lynch.

He graduated from Fordham University. He belonged to the religious orders of the Knights of Malta and Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre. Dennis had an analytical mind for structuring real estate ventures.

In 1979 he opened a commercial management, leasing, and development company. He developed and managed many commercial buildings throughout Southwest Florida. He was later joined by his son Christopher who will carry the business forward.

He enjoyed the sport of croquet and could converse knowledgeably on most subjects. Some of Dennis’ favorite discussions concerned the Civil War and he relished opera and classical music. He was a great admirer of Winston Churchill.

Mr. Lynch is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Bonnie (née Mills) Lynch; his beloved children, Timothy (Mary) Lynch of Singapore, Christopher (Jessica) Lynch of Naples, FL, Elizabeth Megan Lynch of Naples, FL and two cherished grandchildren, Kathryn and Mason Lynch. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 28300 Beaumont Road, Bonita Springs, FL 34134. Visitation for family and friends will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
