Obituary for Frances Fay Szlachetka Frances Fay Szlachetka 78, of Bonita Springs died Friday, January 4, 2019. Fay was born April 26, 1940 in Lynchburg, VA a daughter of the late Ernest E. and Nellie (Lindsey) Moore, Sr. A former resident of Baltimore, MD, Fay moved to Bonita Springs in 1991. She was a graduate of Patterson High School in Baltimore and worked as a bookkeeper for both H & S Bakery and Koester’s Bakery in Baltimore.

After moving to Florida she worked as a nanny for over 10 years in Naples. She is survived by her two sons, Joseph Szlachetka and his wife, Maryann of Naples, FL and Michael M. Szlachetka of Bonita Springs, FL; sister, Jean Burall of Ft. Myers, FL; brother, Ernest E. Moore, Jr. of Oakland, MD; 4 grandchildren, Christopher, Sean, Jonathon and Stephanie and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Szlachetka and her son, Howard Szlachetka. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home 28300 Tamiami Tr. So.
