Our loving son Derik R. Woods, 22, returned home to his Heavenly Father, Tuesday, May 7, 2019. He was born February 22, 1997 in Orem, Utah. He was living in Pecos, Texas pursuing his career with his father and uncle as an Electrician with the Willow Creek Company.

Derik enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandpa Randy at the cabin. He was an outgoing, loving kid and always brought love and laughter to everyone’s lives. He enjoyed the time he spent with his family especially the moments he spent with his Dad in Texas.

He never hesitated helping when he could and was always there when someone needed a laugh or smile. Derik was very loved and will be greatly missed by everyone he left behind. He was and always will be grandpa Randy’s little moochie.

He was a great son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He leaves behind his father Brandon W. Woods, mother Jesica Frost, sister Karlie J. Woods, brother Damien J Woods, aunt JoAnnie Brown, uncles: Shawn (Joey) Woods, Chad (Kim) Woods and Trenton Woods, grandparents Randy and Joy Woods. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Peter E. Brown and JoAnn Brown, great grandparents Ralph and Virginia Gasser, Cyrus and Susan Brown and his best friend and pet, Tank.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lindon 20th Ward Chapel, 56 East 600 North, Lindon. Family and friends may attend a visitation from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in the Lindon City Cemetery.
