Destiny Lee “Dessy” Dahlbeck, 38, of Frewsburg and formerly of Texas passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at her residence. She was born March 1, 1980 in Jamestown, N.Y., the daughter of John D. Dahlbeck of Ashville, NY and Adrian L. Smith-Madden of Lakewood, N.Y. Dessy graduated from Boerne High School in 1998 in Texas. She was very skilled in building and rebuilding engines and building custom motorcycles.

When she was younger she enjoyed her horses. Dessy liked to crochet and she was an avid cook. She will be remembered by her family as a talker.

She really liked to talk and she will always be known by her father as Rufus J. Peabody esq. III. In addition to her parents, she is survived by maternal grandfather: John L. Smith of Lakewood, N.Y.; her stepfather: JT “Mully” Madden of San Antonio, TX; her companion: Clint Brady of Frewsburg, N.Y.; her son: Keegen Tanner Schuchardt of Frewsburg, N.Y.; her daughter: Blythe Haylee Schuchardt of Frewsburg, N.Y.; her sister: Jamie (Joel) Armes of Portage, PA; her niece: Chanda (John) Tredo of Jamestown, N.Y.; two nephews: Zackary Dahlbeck of Jamestown, N.Y. and Hunter Germain of Portage, PA.

She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother: Harriet Lorraine “Splink” Smith. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Destiny Lee “Dessy’ Dahlbeck to her children in care of their grandmother Adrian L. Smith-Madden, 3749 Cowing Road, Lakewood, NY 14750.

Family and friends may call at Powers, Present & Sixbey Funeral Home, 316 East Fifth Street, Jamestown, NY on Sunday from 2-5 PM and Monday from 10AM until the time of the service at 11AM. Dr. William Blair, pastor of New Creation Church will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Lakewood, NY.
