Obituary of Diana Rose Diana A. Rose, 74, of 222 Woodlawn Ave. , Jamestown, passed away at 10:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2019, in the Lutheran Home and Rehabilitation Center. She was born December 26, 1944 in Dunkirk, NY, a daughter of the late Elbert C. and Adeline Hart Dodge.

Diana was a graduate of Brocton High School and in earlier years had worked for the Re Center in Jamestown. She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who loved quilting and baking and was well known for her delicious pies. Surviving are her husband of 34 years, Philip M. Rose whom she married August 4, 1984, her four children; Valerie (Larry) Fierro of Haledon, NJ, Scott (Stephanie) Morehouse of Ashville, NC, Stacy (Tim) Rowan of Jamestown, Cassie (Logan) Evanczik of Bethlehem, PA, four grandchildren; Landon Fierro, Isabel Morehouse, Brody Rowan, Jack Evanczik and her brother; David (Jill) Dodge.

She was preceded in death by her father Elbert who died in 1973, her mother Adeline who died in 2013 and a grandson, Shane Fierro. In keeping with Diana’s wishes, services will be private and visitation will not be observed. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Rd.
