Memorial services for Diane K. Netherland, seventy-four, educator, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2018, at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Charles Somerville officiating. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.

Diane was born in Bakersfield, Oregon on July 7, 1943 to Verna (Cummins) and Clifford Kissell. She married Robert Netherland on June 19, 1976, in Dallas, Texas. He preceded her in death on June 16, 2009.

Diane was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Stephenville, as well as a member of the Traveling Red Hats Club Survivors include her three children, Paul Netherland and wife, Leslie of Seabrook, Texas, Pamela Gaitan and husband, Jesse of Dublin, Texas, Phillip Netherland of Stephenville, Texas; six grandchildren, Teresa Nunez, Marina Woolever, Jennifer Cartery, Justin Gilbert, and Kristen Gilbert; two brothers, Dennis Kissell and wife, Fern of Tennessee, David Kissell and wife, Carolina of Plano, Texas; and a sister, Karen Mclaughlin and husband, Johnny of Terrell, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Verna Kissell; one son, Peter Netherland; one grandson, Tommy Netherland, and a sister and a brother.
