Obituary for Dorothy McBroom Dorothy Anita McBroom April 27, 1937 – May 5, 2018 Dorothy Anita McBroom, 81, of Stephenville, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018 in Stephenville. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, May 10 at Cornerstone Assembly of God in Stephenville with a visitation prior to the service at 2:00 PM. Pastor Ed Dittfurth will be officiating.

Dorothy was born April 27, 1937 in Breckenridge, Texas to the late Granville and Daisy Thomas. She lived in Stephenville most of her life and was a Baptist. She was a hard worker for over 35 years as a meat wrapper.

Dorothy always had an opinion and she didn’t mind telling you. There was never a question of where you stood. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Pack and husband Ricky; son, Gary Basham and wife Becky; daughter, Brenda Basham; and son, Ricky Basham, all of Stephenville.

She was known as “Nanny” by her eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Dorothy is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne; and a sister, Judy.
