Diane Wilcox, 62, a lifelong resident of Athens, TN passed away on Tuesday, April 17th, 2018 at Parkwest Hospital in Knoxville, TN. She was born in Athens on August 20, 1955. Diane was of the Christian faith.

She enjoyed playing with her dogs, sewing and tending to her flower beds. Diane is preceded in death by her father Kenneth Farner. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother Etter Farner, one son and daughter in law Chris & Misti Ghorley, two grandchildren Noel Mobley… Read More » and Hunter Sisson, one sister Crystal Watson, former husband of 27 years Eddie Wilcox, special friends Pauletta Gound and Edward Mason and several nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

A celebration of her life is planned for Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 5:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral of Athens located at 400 S White Street with the Reverend Danny Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until the 5:00 PM service time at the funeral home.
