Dick A. Streeter of Chesaning, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, July, 24, 2018, at Covenant HealthCare Hospital of Saginaw after a long and courageous battle with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. He was born in Saginaw, Michigan on March 30, 1938, the son of the late Danford and Grace (Trim) Streeter. Dick was a graduate of Chesaning High School in the Class of 1956.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He married the love of his life, Nancy M. Loachridge on July 31, 1965. He retired from Chesaning Union Schools after 17 years.

Dick loved spending time with this children and grandchildren. Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of over 52 years, Nancy; their children, Craig A. (Amanda) Streeter of Brant and Renee G. (Douglas) Miller of Chesaning; grandchildren, Brooke E. Miller, Brent D. Miller, Olivia R. Streeter, and Ryan C. Streeter; sister-in-law, Connie Streeter; several nieces and nephews and their families; cousins; and sister-in-law, Connie Streeter. Those loved ones who have passed away before him include his parents; a sister and brother-in-law, Blanche and Robert Kutsch; brothers, Donald Streeter, Bion and his wife Marlene Streeter, and Ronald Streeter; a half-brother, Timothy Streeter; and a sister-in-law, Marlene Streeter.

Rev. Norman Beckwith will officiate at Dick’s funeral service that will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 27, 2018, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1629 W. Brady Road (M-57), Chesaning. Burial will follow at the Riverside Cemetery in St. Charles.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Misiuk Funeral Home of Chesaning. His family will be present at the church Friday to greet relatives and friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
