Donald Delos Lewis, age 85, of Lindsay, Montana died peacefully with family at his side at the Wibaux Nursing Home on Friday, January 18, 2019 in Wibaux, Montana. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the Silha Funeral Home with Reverend Carol Rahn officiating. Silha Funeral Home of Glendive has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Don was born on November 17, 1933 in Glendive, Montana to Russell and Agnes (Buttleman) Lewis. Don graduated from Dawson County High School in 1951 and attended college for two years at the North Dakota School of Science in Wapehton, North Dakota and married Bev in1954. Don and Bev moved to Lindsay, Montana and farmed and ranched for more than 60 years.

Besides enjoying the everyday life of farming and ranching he was a great conservationist. Don also enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards. Don was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Russ and Bob.

Don is survived by his wife, Bev Lewis of 64 years, two daughters, Pam Lewis of Billings, Montana, Barb Neves of Gillette, Wyoming and two sons, Dean Lewis of Taylor, North Dakota and Jeff Lewis of Lyman, Wyoming and two grandchildren.
