Donald E. Bray 69 of Emmett passed away on Saturday May 26, 2018 at a Boise hospital. A memorial service will be held Saturday June 9 at 10:30 am at Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett. The procession will be going to the Emmett Cemetery following the service.

Don was born on April 11, 1949 at Emmett to Shurl and Grace Munson Bray. He was reared and educated in Emmett. He joined the United States Army and served in Vietnam.

After his discharge, he returned to Emmett where he worked at the mill for 33 years. He married Linda Ellen Emery in 1988 at Emmett. He enjoyed camping, fishing and most of all his grandchildren.

He was a member of the VFW Post #4900 of Emmett and a member of the Black Canyon Four-Wheel Drive Club. Don is survived by his children Chris (Nicole) Bray, Nichol (Shawn) Pruitte, Angie (Chad Dutcher) Woehler, Jody Ruska, Melissa Munoz, David Thorton, Michelle Tawny all of Emmett, and Shawn Banks of Washington State, numerous grandchildren, a brother Glenn (Carolyn) McQuilken of Kennewick, WA. , a sister Alice (Ron) Howard of Emmett, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Linda in 2015, his parents and a granddaughter.
