Don Goodman, 90, passed away in his sleep at home on January 4, 2019. He was born to Alma and Ella (Scranton) Goodman in Saint David on November 9, 1928. Don was a 1947 graduate of St. David High School.

He married his sweetheart, Della Lou Miller in Mesa, AZ on May 6, 1949. Don was first employed by Apache Nitrogen then retired from turbine operation for El Paso Natural Gas. He loved farming, raising cattle, roping and breaking colts.

Don is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, a sister, his wife and son, Jerry. Survivors include 1 sister: Joyce (Lon) Reed of Mesa; 3 sons: Benny (Shirley) of Casa Grande, Randy (Debbie) of Mesa, Rod (Julie) of Trinity, NC; 3 daughters: Connie (Wayne) Merrill of St. David, Dona (Robert) Lee of St. David, Deanna (Craig) Chandler of St. Anthony, ID; daughter-in-law LaDawn Goodman of Mesa. He was blessed with 37 grandchildren, their 29 spouses and 95 great-grandchildren & one on the way.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 640 W. Patton St, St. David, AZ. Viewing 9am, Funeral 10am. Funeral arrangements by Richardson’s Remembrance Center.
