Donald M. Geater, 83, of Anderson, passed away January 17, 2019 at St. Vincent’s Anderson Regional Hospital. He was born on May 5, 1935 in Brinkley, Arkansas. Donald served his country in the Army.

He retired from Delco Remy after 34 years of service. Donald is survived by his children, Kevin Geater, Ruth (Russell) Hall; grandchildren, Allan Sheridan, Michaela (Joseph) Acuff, Bradley Shafer; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Hunter, Colton Sheridan, Shae Sheridan, Rory Acuff; brothers, Ed Geater, Bill Geater, Keith Geater and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Neely A. and Kate M. Geater; siblings, Jim, Kenneth, Jerry and Linda.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2019, 11:00 am -1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street Anderson, IN followed by the service at 1:00pm. Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Autism Society, 4340 East-West Hwy Suite 350, Bethesda, MD 20814.
