Obituary for Carole J. Milner Carole J. (Baugh) Milner, 73, of Anderson, passed away on December 31, 2018 at the Alexandria Care Center after a battle with Frontotemporal Dengeneration. She was born on May 15, 1945 in Anderson, where she resided most of her life. Carole was a member of United Wesleyan Church, and worked at Operation Love in several capacities.

She had been active at Main Street Church of God. She served as the first director of the Sheparding program. She also drove the van in the bus ministry.

She was active in other churches. She and her husband founded and worked in the “In Home Ministries” for shut-ins. She assisted in pastoring at Warrington Freewill Baptist Church and Carthage Nazarene, and she co-pastored with her husband, Shirley Friends and Vermillion Friends Church.

She was also very active in the missionary program at New Life Wesleyan Chruch. Her heart was in serving others, praying for others, and helping others in any way she could. .

Carole is survived by her loving husband whom she married June 1, 1984, H. Wayne Milner; children, Tony Miller of Leesville, LA, Trina (Scott) Heflin of Waterford, MI; step-sons, Russ and Noel Milner of Anderson, step-daughter, Carla Milton of Columbia, TN; three brothers, Jimmie (Loraine) Baugh, Dan Baugh of Anderson, Gary Baugh of Melbourne, FL; six grandsons; one granddaughter; five great-granddaughters; three great-grandsons. Also the church family, and special friends, Gerald and Pam Cole, Cindy Day, as well as a host of others. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hershal Baugh and Beulah (Maxwell) Harvey; step-father, Bill Harvey; brother, Larry Baugh; husbands’ parents, Howard and Mary (Henderson) Milner; and grandson, Camron M. Milton.

Her heart was in serving the Lord and others as He allowed and/or led. “I never met a stranger, but now I’m Home! ” The family would like to thank Alexandria Care Center and The Hospice Group for all their wonderful care.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 4, 2019, 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd Street Anderson. Services will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, January 5, 2019, at the funeral home, with Rev. Clifton Ashlock officiating.
