Obituary for Phillip Lee Apple Jr. Phillip Lee Apple Jr. 53, of Anderson lost his courageous battle with cancer on December 30, 2018 in the comfort of his home. He was born July 27, 1965 in Anderson, IN where he lived his entire life. He attended Anderson High School and served with honor in the National Guard.

He worked in construction for Fredricks Inc. and Jerry Fredricks. Those preceding him in death are his mother, Thelma Otto, grandfather, Burl Scott and life long friend Billy Benefield. He is survived by the love of his life for 23 years wife Lisa Lee Apple, daughter, Brittany Lee Apple whom he loved with all of his heart, step-father, Jim Otto, sisters, Yolanda McConnell of Fishers, Kim Otto of Anderson, brother, Steven Otto of Chesterfield, father and mother-in-law Don and Mendy Murrell of Anderson, sister-in-law Lori Pancol of Anderson, brother-in-law, Shannon Stout of Muncie, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He loved working in the yard, being with family and friends and helping others out. He was a kind loving man to those who knew and loved him. He will be greatly missed.

The family would like to thank his respite nurse Susie Carpenter, RN and his faithful circle of friends who stood by him and Lisa through everything.
