Steven Charles Nowlin, 60, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 25, 2019 at the St. Vincent Hospice Center. He was born on December 8, 1958 in Anderson, Indiana. Steve graduated from Anderson High School and worked in the Grocery industry in Albany, Georgia for many years.

He was an Avid sports fanatic, especially Georgia Bulldogs football and all college basketball. Steve is survived by his daughter, Lauren Nowlin; siblings, Michael (Mary Ann) Nowlin, Penny (Kevin) Gara, Dianna (Jerry) Rysticken, Ronna (Jim) Boone, Christina (Tim) Hodges, Debra (Ben) Clemens, Ramona (Joe) Berry, Shirley Jo Gorham; 14 nieces and nephews and 20 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles A. (Annabelle Nowlin); mother, Betty Nowlin, sister, Pamela Sue Nowlin Robertson.

A Celebration of Life Luncheon will be held Friday, March 1, 2019, 11:00 am at The Community Room at Loose Funeral Homes, 200 West 53rd Street, Anderson, IN. Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
