Obituary for Norma Jean Evans Norma Jean Evans, 91, of Anderson, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 30, 2018 at the Morristown Manor. She was born on January 18, 1927 in Anderson, Indiana to the late Ora and Tressie (Carver) Waymire. Norma graduated from Alexandria-Monroe High School in 1946.

She went right to work at Guide Lamp in 1946 and retired after 30 years of service. She was a member of Eastern Star- Mt. Moriah #154 and was a faithful member of Meadowbrook Baptist church.

Norma is survived by her loving husband of 71 years whom she married on October 12, 1947 Ralph Evans, sister-in-law, Betty Waymire of Phoenix, AZ, along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by six brothers and 2 sisters. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 3, 2019, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St. Anderson, IN.

Services will be Thursday, January 3, 2019, 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Dennis Zirkle officiating. Burial will take place in the Park View Cemetery, Alexandria. Memorial contributions may be made to Meadowbrook Baptist Church.
