Donald’s Obituary Mr. Donald Lee Bottomley, 91, of Winfield, went home on March 26, 2019. He was born on April 11, 1927, in Posey County, IN, the son of Aaron Wesley and Pearl Orilla (Alldredge) Bottomley. Donald attended school in Savah and Mt.

Vernon, IN. At the age of 16, he left home to work in the oil fields of IN. , IL, and KY.

In 1947, he joined the Marine Corp. It was during this time he met his wife, Morvith Williams. They were married on August 17, 1949, and had four daughters.

Donald worked for Bridgeport Brass in Connecticut, before securing a position at McDonnell-Douglas in St. Louis, and moving to Missouri. He later retired in 1987. In his spare time, Donald enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He especially loved deer and elk hunting. Donald also loved cars and motorcycles. He leaves behind 3 daughters: Ellen Powell of Silex, Leah Lancaster and her husband, John of Troy, Lydia Greco and her husband, Santo of Moscow Mills, grandchildren: Hannah Schrader, Eric & Melanie Gardner, Chadwick Walter, David & Sarah Weitkamp, Courtney & Chris Goris, Joshua Lancaster & Heather Stengel, Aaron Lancaster, Katherine Lancaster, Michael & Erin Greco, Rachael Greco and Dianna Young, 9 great-grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Morvith his daughter, Morvie, his brother; John Bottomley and 6 sisters: Lena McFadin, Bertha L. Tuley, Ellen Uhde, Fayetta Lowell, Glendola Bottomley, Laveta Blackburn. Visitation to be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until 12 noon, at the First Assembly of God Church, 432 S. Lincoln Drive, Troy, MO, 63379. A funeral service to also be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019, 12 noon, at the First Assembly of God Church in Troy.

Pastor Josh Emmons to officiate. Memorials may be made to Feed the Hungry c/o McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone Street, Troy, MO, 63379, 636-528-8244. Interment to follow in the Troy City Cemetery.
