Obituary for Donald Cusack Donald Francis Cusack, age 74, of West Haven, beloved husband of Faye (Atkinson) Cusack, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 27, 2018. Born in New Haven on June 18, 1944, he was the son of the late Thomas Joseph Cusack and Jane Frances (Regan) Cusack Manning. Donald proudly served in the US Marine Corp.

during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Lima Co. Third Battalion 9th Marines. Donald also was a member of the VA Union, the US National Guard during the 1980’s, and volunteered at the VA Hospital.

He was a well-liked man and enjoyed traveling with his wife. In addition to his wife Faye, Donald is survived by his two sons, Jason Cusack, Daniel Cusack, sisters, Mary Jane Cusack, Nancy Jean Smith, step-brother, Jack Manning, and sister-in-law, Roberta Cusack. Donald was predeceased by his two brothers Robert T. Cusack, Thomas Joseph “T.J.” Cusack, and step-sisters, Mary Beth Ball and Kathy Wark.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. His funeral service will commence Thursday at 10 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Stony Creek Cemetery, Branford with military honors.
