Obituary for Donna C Shelton Donna Claxon Shelton, 86, of Pendleton, passed away on July 20, 2018 at the Rawlins House in Pendleton. She was born on March 5, 1932 in Anderson, where she resided most of her life. Donna graduated from Anderson High School, and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Anderson University.

She worked for Delco Remy and retired after 38 years of service. She was a member of the Pan and Platter Club. She liked to travel, and cook for her friends and family.

Donna is survived by her loving sons, Tony (Diane) Shelton, and Mike (Patricia) Shelton; grandchildren, Maria (B.J.) Rhea, Daniel (Michelle) Shelton, Andrew (Patricia) Shelton, and Paul Shelton; and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her half-siblings, John and Karen, and several nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Charles G. Shelton; father, Emmett Claxon; and mother, Wanda Jenkins.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial of remains will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Whetstone Christian Church.
