Donna’s Obituary Donna Carolyn (Archer) Carder, 79, of Parkersburg, passed away March 27, 2019 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg. She was born June 11, 1939 in Parkersburg, the daughter of the late Marshall and Ruth Carolyn (Adams) Archer. Donna was a graduate of P.H.S. in 1957.

She was a homemaker and was a Girl Scout Leader and a member and Deaconess of the First Christian Church. Donna enjoyed reading, sewing and bowling. Her greatest joy was being a loving wife and mother to her family.

She is survived by two daughters, Randi Jo Tranquill (Bob) of Vienna and Cindy Lou McCallister also of Vienna; one sister, Necia Metzger of Greenville, SC; one brother, James A. Archer (Judy) of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Matthew J. Tranquill (Marcie), Joseph R. Tranquill (Dede), Zachary W. McCallister (Jennifer) and Cori L. Mcintire (Austin); great-grandchildren, Conner, Jackson, Catelyn and Elijah Tranquill, Nolan, Caroline, Reed McCallister, Elizabeth and Claire McIntire. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Allen Carder and a brother, Marshall L. Archer. Funeral services for Donna will be held at 11 a.m. April 2, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna with Father Rice officiating.

Burial will follow the service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
