For many years Rosie and daughter Kim were active in visiting elderly people and sharing the gospel and cookies.

After moving from Florida she lived with daughter Pam and quickly made friends on Dutch Ridge. With a life long desire to share Christ with others, she again used flannel graph stories at Cedar Grove Assisted Living. Jasper, her beloved Shih Tzu, went along as pet therapy.

Rosie had been a TOPS leader in Harrisville and Parkersburg. She made lifelong friendships while conducting these meetings. She was a beloved member of Praying and Loving Sisters for many years.

Rosie was a member of Senior Stitchers. While enjoying friends, she sewed lap quilts, walker bags and Christmas stockings. She donated over 100 pillowcase dresses for girls in Appalachian states.

Rosie enjoyed reading, cooking, tole painting, golfing, quilting and flower gardening. She loved to travel and had been abroad with her sister Sharon; daughters Pam and Kim. A lifelong dream came true in July 2014, as she visited Yellowstone National Park and Mr. Rushmore with her three girls.

Rosie was a snow bird and spent 32 winters in Punta Gorda, Clerbrook and Sarasota, Florida. She is survived by three daughters Pamela Wilson of Parkersburg, WV, Kimberly Anderson of Belpre, Ohio and Vicki Stewart (Mark) of Mineral Wells, WV.
